Role requirements

As a Community Support Worker you’ll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing. You’ll need:

  • At least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
  • The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
  • A valid Moving and Handling certificate
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence and have reliable access to a personal vehicle

You could make a difference to an individual’s life

You’ll be supporting a service user who has a diagnosis of Autism and Severe Learning Disability. You will be required to enable him to access the community and be more independent. Your various duties will include meal preparation and providing emotional support, but the main purpose of the role is to assist the service user with social activities outside of his home. This care package is for 2:1 support, so you will not be alone and family are close by if needed.

Shifts: Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00 (this includes mileage pay).
