Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated (male*) Children’s Residential Support Workers (male) to join our team near Colchester. This (male*) Children’s Residential Support Worker position pays up to £14.99 per hour.

As part of this role, you will be supporting active boys across the ages of 12, 15 and 16 that like to attend school and doing activities such as going swimming, going to the gym, fishing and playing chess. You will be caring for them across days, waking nights and sleeping shifts from Monday to Sunday.

About you

  • Active, resilient, proactive and able to swim with them (if you can also swim that would be a bonus!).
  • At least 6 months UK full time experience in the last 3 years working alongside children and young people
  • Ideally holding a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare but not essential  
  • The right to work in the UK 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

It is essential that applicants are drivers able to comfortably drive manual and automatic cars.
