At Newcross Healthcare, we give our nurses a different level of support to help them make a positive impact in people’s lives every day. We are currently recruiting an experienced Recovery Nurse to join our teams working in hospital theatres across Canterbury and the surroundings.

This rewarding theatre nurse role pays up to £30.25 per hour (inc holiday pay).

In this role, you will be caring for patients’ post-operation to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery. You will be monitoring the patients’ anaesthesia recovery, pain and medication needs and assisting them throughout the recovery process. You must be quick-thinking, attentive and understanding of patients’ needs.

What you’ll need as a Recovery Nurse

  • NMC registration
  • Nursing degree, ILS or ALS training
  • 12-months experience as a Recovery Nurse within the last 3 years in a UK hospital theatre
  • Moving and Handling training (available when you join)
  • Strong communication skills, organisation, flexibility and good teamwork skills
  • The right to work in the UK
